Step Into What's Next

Embrace ALL of you and live the life you truly desire.

Somatic Healing & Coaching for Soul-Led Women

WELCOME

My name is Alison McCutcheon

You can be successful, capable, and outwardly “fine” and still feel a pull toward something more honest, more alive.

For over 20 years, I worked alongside leaders, building high-performing teams across the globe. From the outside, it looked successful and accomplished, and in many ways, it was.

But over time, I became deeply interested in what sits beneath performance. Who we are when the roles no longer fit. What happens when a capable woman feels a pull toward something more honest, more alive.

Today, I work with women who look like they’re thriving, yet know that something is shifting. Professionals, business owners, and creatives who’ve spent a long time being the strong one. The one who keeps everything moving. â€‹Women who are ready to feel like themselves again.

This work isn’t about doing more, pushing harder, or fixing what’s broken. It’s about slowing down enough to meet the woman you’ve become, beneath the roles, the armour, and the effort.

Through my Aligned Self Framework™, we gently uncover what’s real, what’s next, and what’s been waiting for you all along: your clarity, your energy, your aliveness.

If you’re standing at that edge, sensing something inside you is ready to shift, I’d be honoured to walk beside you as you step into your next chapter.

About

I know what it’s like to do everything “right” on paper and still feel that something important is missing.

For years, I worked closely with senior professionals, supporting major transitions, shaping careers, and helping people step into bigger roles. I loved the work, the strategy, the conversations, the sense of momentum.

But somewhere along the way, I realised I’d become the woman who could help everyone else find their direction… while quietly losing touch with her own.

That moment didn’t lead me to burn everything down. It led me inward.

I trained in somatic, trauma-informed, and psychodynamic coaching, not to start again, but to integrate everything I’d learned about leadership, identity, and the human side of change.

Now, I blend my experience with this work to support women at a similar crossroads, women who are ready for something truer than surface-level fixes.

The Process

My work weaves together different strands, not as a formula, but as a way of meeting you where you are:

Career, life & business coaching - to clarify direction, navigate transitions, and create steps that feel aligned rather than pressured.

Somatic practices - to reconnect with your body’s inner wisdom, so decisions feel grounded, not forced or overthought.

Neuroscience & psychology - to understand your patterns with compassion, and create space for change that actually lasts.

Parts + shadow work - to gently loosen the roles you’ve outgrown and reclaim the parts of you that bring confidence, creativity, and freedom.

The result isn’t a bigger life. It’s a truer one.

Not just impressive on the outside, but deeply aligned, alive, and unmistakably yours.

Why Somatic Work

Somatic work comes from the Greek word soma, meaning “the body.” It focuses on what we experience and hold physically, not just what we understand intellectually.

Many of the patterns we struggle with, overthinking, exhaustion, people-pleasing, feeling stuck - aren’t problems of motivation or mindset.

They’re the result of a nervous system that learned to adapt.

Somatic work recognises that past experiences aren’t stored as stories in the body, but as patterns of protection - in breath, posture, muscle tone, and stress responses.

By working gently with the body, we help the nervous system update, creating clarity, energy, and choice without forcing change or re-living the past.

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."

- Anaïs Nin

Coming Home to Yourself

I believe the most powerful work isn’t about becoming someone else.

It’s about allowing yourself to be who you already are,  without apology, without performance, without forcing.

Not by fixing or perfecting yourself.
But by coming back into relationship with your own truth.

Real confidence doesn’t come from getting it right. It comes from trusting yourself, even when you don’t have all the answers.

There’s no one path that fits everyone. No single definition of success or fulfilment.

The work I do is about helping you listen to what’s true for you, and creating a life that reflects that, quietly, steadily, in your own way.

Before working with Alison, I felt lost, stuck in overthinking and unsure of my next step. Through our journey, I discovered who I truly am, what I want, and the courage to go after it. I’ve unleashed parts of myself I’d hidden for years, and for the first time, I feel deeply fulfilled and excited about my future.

Alison's awareness of the body's responses to thoughts and fears brings an additional depth and dimension to her coaching that I never would have thought to access on my own and really helped to free myself from restrictions in my own thinking and responses. She is empathetic and genuinely wants her clients to succeed.
